Most of us don't spend much time on the things we honestly love to do. From playing guitar, to singing to advising teenagers on studies or job perspective. Your zone of genius is often unused. But has potential to be developed and (partly) used in your daily life.
Do you know the difference between your zone of excellence and zone of genius? In the first you do what you're good at - for instance you studied law so now you're a lawyer. You're probably precise and careful in your work environment. Your zone of genius, however, can be in what you enjoyed as a kid or student - like doing a speech, painting or redecorating your room. Sometimes when you get bored you might buy some painting materials. But the activity you still love isn't part of you anymore. What if you invested in it and saw how much joy and energy you got from those moments?
In this session, we will:
Make a timeline from childhood to now (no psych fluff!)
Explore your skills, activities and beliefs over time
See how you can implement moments of joy into your week
Possibly even make a plan how to transition towards your zone of genius
Make a dream line plan to take concrete steps to change your life in small and large ways
